Sevier Democrats offer two candidates in upcoming local May 1, 2018 Democratic Primary

Candidates Amy Alford and JoAnn Finchum are pictured turning in their qualifying petitions to be on the ballot

in the upcoming Sevier County May 1,2018 Democratic Primary.

Each woman is seeking a county commissioner seat. Amy is aiming for the 6th District County Commissioner Seat A

and JoAnn is vying for the 10th District County Commissioner Seat B.

Both are energetic and enthusiastic candidates who bring the message of giving voters a choice on the ballot.

They hope to represent their districts with a platform that will be equitable, fair and supportive of all their constituents.

Both women are new to the political stage, but are not new to issues that matter most in peoples lives.

Empathy and compassion are the outstanding traits of both candidates.

All roads lead home. Come home Tennessee to the party that best looks out for you.
